Axl Jansen was born in a small village in south germany. During his youth he played music in different bands and though he sliped into the local music scene where his interests changed and he started taking pictures of the local musicians like “Fantastische Vier” , “Freundeskeis” followed up by more international stars like “Moby” , “Falco” , “Leningrad Cowboys” . After a while he started working for the fashion industy and shot campaigns for Mustang Jeans and Hugo Boss. Searching for the right conditions and possibilities for his fashion photography he moved first to Hamburg then Berlin and finaly to Paris where he is based since 4 years.
Co-Founder of the Fashion Magazine DONG in 2004 which is now sold in 16 countries.
